(Nov, 1, 2025 update) These are fresh pictures as of Nov. 1, 2025 and all of these items are from an estate that I am helping to clear. Pricing is basically $5 for an item that is about 1/3 rack size, $10 for an item that is about 2/3 rack size, $15 for an item that is full rack size, $20 for a Tek mainframe without modules and $30 for a Tek mainframe with modules. All items are sold as-is and are cash only -- no checks or electronic methods. Asume that any item will need repair, etc. Some of the odd items are free with purchase of another item. I will discount the total if multiple items are purchased. You must come here to pick up the item(s). Shipping is a possible option only if no one else wants an item -- but shipping is a lot of trouble for me and I prefer not. Bring your car, truck, or van and buy as much as you can haul. Not shown in the pictures is what I am pretty sure is an R390 shortwave receiver which is in my basement and too heavy to put with the other stuff.
This equipment is located in the Vestavia Hills community just south of Birmingham, Alabama. I am retired and at home most of the time so scheduling should be easy. Email is the best way to contact although feel free to call. I screen all calls so leave a message on the answering machine -- but if I am in my office and hear you then I will pick up. I will definitely return your call. It is okay to message me on Facebook but I have had a lot of issues with that in Facebook not always informing me that a message is waiting. That caused some people to lose out on a deal they wanted on previous versions of this sale.

I also have over 70 cathode ray tubes for oscilloscopes. Most are for Tektronix (a few for HP) and range from early 500 series to various 7000 series. Some are used pulls and others I believe are New Old Stock and are in crt boxes. What I would really like is for a dealer type to acquire the entire lot at a price we can agree on. It is too much trouble to ship whether it is one crt or the whole lot so you will have to come here. Pricing is a flat $20 (less for CRTs with issues (i.e., weak, chipped, etc.) per CRT and sold as-is as I have no way to test -- but you can inspect and decide if you think the tube is worth a chance. All CRT's have good getter except as noted in the list. That is a fantastic deal compared to what you would pay at a dealer if you could even find the CRT. List of available cathode ray tubes If you plan to acquire some CRTs be sure to bring something to carry them in. Some are in factory boxes but others are in plastic tubs with bubble wrap.
I also have a lot of equipment manuals mostly for Tek but there are others too. Some are originals and others are photocopies. There are too many to list. Basically $5 each but average price can be discounted if you buy a lot. You will have to go through the stacks and pick out what you want.
